Product reviews
I'm 22 weeks with my second baby and I honestly cannot believe how different this pregnancy feels just because of this planner. With my first, I was Googling everything at 2am in a panic and never felt like I actually knew what was coming next. This time, I opened up From Bump to Baby on week 6 and I've been filling it in ever since. The week-by-week pages are so well laid out — you get the development milestones, the symptoms to expect, AND space to write how you're actually feeling. My midwife actually commented that I'm the most prepared mum she's seen in her clinic this year. That meant everything to me. Best 0 I have ever spent. If you're pregnant right now, don't wait — just get it.
I bought three different pregnancy journals before this one and they were all either too basic (just pretty spaces to write due dates and names) or way too clinical and scary. From Bump to Baby hits the perfect balance — it's warm and encouraging but also genuinely informative. I'm 34 weeks now and I've been tracking every week since I downloaded it at week 8. The hospital bag checklist alone saved me so much stress — I've seen other mums in my antenatal class scrambling last minute and I was completely sorted by week 32. My husband even reads some of the partner pages, which I did NOT expect! The birth preferences section is so thoughtful. It helped me have a proper conversation with my OB about what I actually want. I feel calm, informed and genuinely excited — not terrified like I was at the start. 100% recommend.
I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks and immediately spiralled into anxiety. I was in the first-time-mum Facebook groups but honestly they made it worse — too many horror stories, too much conflicting advice. A friend sent me the link to this planner and I downloaded it that night. I sat with a cup of tea and just read through the whole thing. By the time I finished, the anxiety had lifted. Not because it sugarcoats anything — it doesn't — but because it actually explains what's happening, what's normal, and what to do about it. I felt like I finally had a clear map instead of just a terrifying blank road ahead. Now I'm 19 weeks and I fill in a new page every Sunday morning. It's become my little ritual. The journaling prompts in particular are beautiful — they've helped me process emotions I didn't even know I had. This planner genuinely changed how I'm experiencing this pregnancy.
I want to specifically mention the Urgent Warning Signs section in this planner — because at week 28, I noticed symptoms that matched what was listed there and I called my OB immediately instead of waiting. Turned out my blood pressure was dangerously high and I was developing preeclampsia. My doctor said catching it when we did made a huge difference. I'm not saying the planner is a medical device — obviously always see a doctor — but having that clear, easy-to-understand list meant I KNEW to take action instead of dismissing it as normal pregnancy discomfort. My OB actually asked me where I'd learned to recognise those signs and when I showed her the planner she was genuinely impressed. This isn't just a cute journal — it's proper pregnancy education wrapped in a beautiful design. Every pregnant woman should have this.
I'm not usually a digital product person — I always prefer physical things — but the price was so good I figured I'd try it. Downloaded it immediately after purchase, printed the whole 78 pages at my local print shop and had them spiral bind it. Oh my goodness, it looks even better printed. The design is so clean and professional — it genuinely looks like something you'd buy in a high-end baby boutique for 0 or more. I have it sitting on my kitchen counter and every single person who comes over picks it up and asks where I got it. When I tell them it was 9.99 they are completely shocked. The nutrition section and the meal planning pages have been especially helpful — I was really struggling with what to eat in the first trimester when everything made me nauseous, and the gentle suggestions in here were so practical. Worth every single penny and so much more.
This is my second pregnancy and my daughter Lily (she just turned 3) has completely taken ownership of this planner. Every Sunday morning she climbs up next to me and we fill in the week's page together. She draws little pictures in the margins and I write down what she says about the baby — it's become the sweetest ritual we share. But beyond the sweetness, this planner is genuinely excellent. The sibling preparation section gave me so many ideas for helping Lily adjust to the baby arriving, and the postpartum planning pages are things I wish I'd had with her — I was completely unprepared for the fourth trimester. This time I've already got my support plan written, my meals prepped in my head, and my expectations properly set. This planner turned my pregnancy into something I'm cherishing, not just surviving. I've already bought it as a gift for two friends who are expecting.
